My New Identity: I am Accepted, Loved, and Valuable

By on Friday, August 4, 2017

Hey, my lovely readers, how have you been? I know I have been missing again in the blogging world because I enjoyed my work so much. I work as a bridal makeup artist and hair stylist, for some of you that don’t know. So here I am sitting and writing about something I really want to share to you as my first comeback. I wrote this in the hope that if someone out there who is experiencing same thing as me, their strengths will be renewed and their minds will be enlightened, knowing that they are not alone in this world. You are not alone (hugs)

It is my story about a low self confidence.

Los Angeles Trip Day One

By on Monday, March 6, 2017

I have been really lucky to be able to travel to United States if not because of my boyfriend (thanks, honey ♥) and also the support of his and my family. So we were going to spend the entire weekend in Los Angeles by driving all the way down from San Fransisco. But the plan was almost ruined due to my uninvited sickness. Not only that but California was also drenched in heavy rain and storms during the weekend! At the end, we decided to just go for it as he already took a day off.

When we have finally arrived in his cousin’s house eight hours later, my sickness got worse. It was stomach flu that makes me feel bad stomachache and diarrhoea. So he had to drive again to get me medicine and took care of me eventhough he was exhausted. But I am really thankful for him that he is so caring towards my health despite that it was our first trip. I would feel so bad if I didn’t recover the next day. Thank God, I did recover the next day and had the chance to enjoy Los Angeles!

Her name is Awen (oh, how I miss those old Twitter-ing days!), She is someone that I consider much talented in the way she expresses things through words. Beautiful, thought-provoking, and empowering at the same time. I once did this list few years back then and successfully accomplished more than some of my goals. Since then, things have changed. I have grown up. My thoughts process has evolved and new dreams are formed. I thought I would want to give it another go this time.

After much consideration and thought, here are the things I want to accomplish within these 1,001 days!

Life is To Create Yourself, Not To Find

By on Wednesday, February 5, 2014

I often visualize myself coming into a new island, a new society after going out from darkness. Half a year ago I said I want to run for the horizon, I want to run for the sunshine with my renewed mind. Infinite hope is in my heart. My love tank is full. I smile delightfully and greet every person I meet along the road, introduce myself as a newcomer. I spread happiness. I take chance and opportunity whenever they are available. I have new and fun experiences that I have never encountered before. I slowly grow as a person. I tell people my stories. They are impressed. I tell people my struggles. They are inspired. They even put my story in the local bulletin board. I feel like my face radiates sunbeams.

Got Pink? It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month

My heart breaks every time I hear someone—family member from close friends or relatives, mostly, or someone I know, or someone else—is clinically diagnosed with cancer, especially breast cancer. When I say my heart breaks, my heart cries. From the stories I have been told, breast cancer grows and spreads quickly within months, or even weeks. From the very deepest of me, I encourage you, my readers, to educate yourself more about the early detection and going beyond it. Cancer could turn your life upside down, let’s prevent life-full-of-hard-struggle earlier.
